The Sydney Comets were formed in 2008 as a sister team to the London Comets, and many members have been playing together ever since. We play year-round, playing outdoor softball from October to March at Moore Park in Sydney, and indoor softball from March to September, 30 minutes outside the city in the Sutherland Shire. We also participate in regular pub trivia nights and other social outings. We're a mix of people from different backgrounds, of different ages, and with varying levels of experience playing softball, and many of us grew up overseas playing softball or baseball. We're always welcoming of new members, whether you're an experienced player looking for a team to join, or someone who'd like to give softball a go and meet some new friends.
